Scope of Work:
Design, supply, installation of vertical lifting platform at Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay
Barrier-free access is a one of the key feature in building a barrier-free Hong Kong to provide reasonable accommodation to persons with disabilities (PWDs). Vertical Lifting Platform is one of the universal design which is approved by EMSD and BD to satisfy the needs of PWDs entering premises including schools, commercial buildings, housing and workplace.
This vertical lifting platform was installed on the podium level of the Telford Plaza to allow end-users to-and-fro the pedestrian bridge and the podium level. The vertical lifting platform is from Sweden’s Aritco AB model 7000-A1. The platform is using electric motor nut/screw drive to power the platform. The design provided a quiet and comfortable travel to-and-fro upper and lower landings.
